Scoliosis should not mean surgery - explore NUCCA

“Trust is a big issue for me; especially when it comes to getting treatment. Not just for myself, but for my children as well.

My youngest daughter has scoliosis. She wore a back brace for almost 10 months. Unfortunately, the brace wasn’t helping because the curves in her shoulder and lower back were getting worse. Surgery was looking almost like a reality. I decided to take my daughter to visit Dr. Fryer to see if he could help her. Sure enough, he said, “Yes”. To ease my daughter’s concerns she watched Dr. Fryer work on my neck. She decided to go ahead with the treatment.

It has been well over a month and I am noticing big changes in how my daughter lives her life. No more back brace! A whole lot less back pain. Curves are now down to a minimal to where surgery is not needed. Also, her confidence level has risen due to being able to move with ease, (especially touching her toes without bending her knees for the first time – that was huge!). Today, my daughter is exercising and eating healthier because she realizes that her dream of becoming a professional soccer player can come true.” –Patricia B. about her daughter
